100 days in: What’s next for business

As the Trump administration crosses the 100-day mark, executives are responding to continued volatility with speed and precision. Our May 2025 Pulse Survey shows that executives aren’t waiting to see what happens — they’re moving. On average, more than half (53%) of companies have moved beyond planning and are actively adjusting forecasts, reducing costs and diversifying suppliers. US economic policy, AI regulation and trade developments are driving short-term strategy shifts as executives look ahead. Yet despite the action, 57% of executives say they’re missing opportunities due to slow decision-making.

Executives are embracing a two-speed strategy: acting quickly to manage today’s risks while building flexibility for tomorrow’s growth. See what’s unfolding — and how you can get ahead.
