Elliott is PwC Canada’s National Climate Change Leader and PwC’s global lead for climate adaptation. He has delivered over $125M of climate change projects in 20 countries globally.
Leading the climate change and environment team, he works with banks, investors, companies, and government on climate strategy, decarbonisation, climate risk and resilience, sustainable finance, and climate-related reporting.
Elliott has been a leader nationally on climate change, such as by supporting the Canadian Sustainability Standards Board (CSSB), the Sustainable FinanceAction Council (SFAC), the National Expert Panel on Natural Disaster Resilience, and the National Climate Resilient Infrastructure Working Group.
Elliott has worked with governments and the public service across Canada and globally. He was formerly the Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Toronto, was a public servant for Ontario, has worked across Canadian federal departments, and globally has worked with the United Nations Development Programme, the World Bank Group, the UK’s FCDO, and the Southern African Development Community.
Elliott has made over 100 public appearances in lectures, speaking engagements, and in media regarding topics on climate change. He is a frequent contributor on climate change on radio, television, and print media.
